SWOT Analysis
Below gives an insight into my character as i'm beginning to settle into the everyday trials and tribulations of University life. Strengths highlight areas which have I have become acustomed too over the years whereas Weaknesses show things that I need to adress and work on. I am very excited about the opportunities university life has to offer me however, for me to achieve anything laid out under the oportunities heading, things that put doubt in my mind must also be looked at or they could be a threat to successful study at university.

The results from the Vark Questionairre indicate that I have a miltimodal (ARK) learning preference. I take in most information when reading and writing. I usually won't fully understand the task laid out infront of me if someone talks about it. However, if I have a sheet handed to me with the task explained on, I can digest the information in my own time, allowing me to highlight particular areas of concern. I hope to improve on my visual and aural skills whilst learning.

Areas to improve on; Haptic, Auditory and Olfactory. I believe Olfactory is at the bottom because in all honestly I don't believe learning by sense of smell is my strong point. However, smell can trigger memories especially ones from yesteryear so as to familiarise something attached to a sense of smell may prove precious in its time of need.
On meeting my personal tutor
I sat down with my personal tutor in which he asked how I was getting along. I expressed concern in a particular area of study in which he was more than happy to help me with. I explained how this area of study was completely new to me and I didn't quite understand the first couple of lectures to which he offered me an additional class I have the option to dropping into, just to get my head around what's what.

The area of study I believe I most likely need to work on is activist. To develop a more activist learning style I will need to be able to; take charge, not necessarily think about the consequences, be more enthusiastic, invite new challenges, try things that may be out of your comfort zone.
